June 7, 2021 – Tifton, GA
Rolled into theTIfton KOAaround 4:00PM in a drizzling rain. It was later than we planned due to a multi-vehicle wreck on I75 that set us back an hour. We set up the campsite just before a huge thunderstorm struck.
We have stayed at this KOA several times and it is a great stop about half way between home and our trip to Bald Ridge Creek on Lake Lanier. It seems every time we stop by they improve the amenities a little more. Friendly staff and overall a pleasant campground. There website says,
“Come to the equine and pet-friendly Tifton KOA and you’ll find a quiet setting nestled in a grove of pecan trees, along with good old-fashioned country hospitality. Stay for an extended time or enjoy a quick stop en route to your final destination.”
On to north Georgia.
